Chapters In Books On My Bookshelf

I’ve always looked at my life as a series of books sitting on a bookshelf. Mind you, my book shelf is getting dustier and dustier the older I get, but I’ve always thought of my words, actions, and decisions as being collected in multiple books, sitting on a shelf for only me to see.

Did I Get Left Behind?

This is a blog I wrote over several weeks. That hasn’t been my pattern in the past. Getting left behind is a difficult thing. It’s a terrible feeling and something I think about all the time. Because of the nature of writing about a “current” and very STRONG feeling, this one took me a few weeks to write, read, re-write, read, edit, read, and write again.

Believe it or not, this will be my 24th blog post since I started. Some I think have been good, and some have been average. But they’ve all been honest and real, that’s for sure. I’ve also now had 6,700 reads on my blog, so I’m honored to have my thoughts read by so many in such a short time.

I hope you enjoy this one. It’s just about as real as it gets. Comment, share and let me know that you stopped by!
